MOARÉ: TEIXITS NUS BY Txell Miras Guillem Beltrà

The Moaré festival merges the worlds of fashion and audiovisual art, this year highlighting a fashion film as the centerpiece of this fusion. The featured work, "Teixits Nus" ("Naked Fabrics"), is a collaborative project co-directed by fashion designer Txell Miras and filmmaker Guillem Beltrà.

Inspired by its position as the festival's inaugural fashion film, the piece explores the concept of genesis. It metaphorically portrays the birth of a pure, luminous being that emerges from an intricate web of textiles, as if engendered by the very essence of fashion. In this symbolic universe, the fabrics do not merely dress a body—they create it, acting as a placenta. Once born, the being must break free from its origin to embark on its own path, signifying the beginning of a profound journey in search of identity.
